Commissioning Week at the
Monday witnessed the penultimate parade for members of the Class of 2006. Cool, sunny, and breezy weather made the occasion nearly perfect for observers and participants alike. Parades seem to me a silly thing for any given person at any given moment. They acquire their meaning in the aggregation of purpose and effort and tradition shared by the participants. As a parent, I certainly felt a of clarity of context at this one.
