Preparations for a wedding. The season of sakura is an auspicious time to be married.
Jan Ask, Schubert Foo and his wife, and I were taken by Mitsuharu Nagemori to a lovely park full of Sakura at the point of poignant hubuki -- the 'snowstorm' of the loss of these lovely petals of cherry blossoms. There we enjoyed a lunch prepared by Mitsuharu's wife and Schubert (who in addition to being a photographer and professor, is quite a cook). It was a beautiful, warm day that defines the notion of 'basking'. On our way back to the University, we passed this scene, and Mitsuharu stopped and backed up, that we might... well... intrude with digital capture. Uncertain as to whether such gawking might be rude, our moment of doubt was resolved on the face of the bride. Lord, I am not worthy.
